Currently, one of the functions of the library that must be turned on is a vehicle for preserving the nation's cultural wealth. Libraries take an important role in this. By collaborating with art enthusiasts, the library can create a regional art literacy corner. Through the addition of this art literacy corner, the library will become a cultural center and regional art information center.
Libraries that have carried out the function of preserving cultural property, one of which is the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo University Library. The University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Library as an A accredited library by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia has an innovation to create a special reading corner called "Reog Corner".

Apart from being a special corner that provides collections about Ponorogo, Reog Corner is also developed into a gallery. By displaying a miniature of Reog Ponorogo, starting from the Ponorogo warok, jathil dancers, bujang ganong, and klono sewandono complete with the characteristic attributes of each character. And do not miss the musical instruments or gamelan used in the Reog Ponorogo performance are also served at this Reog Corner, namely gong, kethuk, kenong, ciblon drum, and angklung. Indirectly, the addition of Reog Corner statues and musical instruments is intended so that users who have never seen a Reog Ponorogo performance can at least know the characters and musical instruments used in Reog Ponorogo art. Because users of the Muhammadiyah Ponorogo University Library do not only come from Ponorogo, but from various regions outside Ponorogo and even from outside the island.
